Westerly Creek Elementary is recognized as one of the top elementary schools in Denver and is also the largest in the district with approximately 700 students from ECE up through fifth grade. Each year, the PTA facilitates a grant for at least $200,000 to bridge the gap between what WCE receives in funding and the actual cost of our children’s education. These funds support programs like:

• Hiring and retaining full-time paraprofessionals, support staff, and a full-time nurse

• Ensuring access to interventionists for math and literacy support

• Providing updated technology for teachers and students, such as laptops, iPads, and smartboards

• Offering additional Gifted & Talented programs and services

In order to meet our funding goals, we’re actively seeking community sponsorships from local businesses and organizations. Sponsors will be promoted through signage, website, social media, email, and direct communications to parents.

Our commitment is to provide an environment in which each child can thrive and become a lifelong learner. By donatiing to WCE, our sponsors are not only helping to grow their businesses through exposure, but also helping our children grow.
