The PTA helps make all this possible through our Annual Fund, a commitment to give back $200,000 to the school from donations, sponsorships, and other fundraising activities. Westerly Creek is one of the top elementary schools, public or private, in the state. Everyone agrees -- we were just chosen as Colorado Sun readers' top elementary school in Denver! A high level of community involvement is one reason we have such a highly ranked school. The administration has recruited the best teachers, and we have the opportunity to provide them with the best resources to support our children’s education.

Before our children entered elementary school, we dug deep to pay for daycare and early education. Now we’re asking for a fraction of the monthly cost of daycare to support the school for the entire year.

In addition to the Annual Fund to provide staff and resources, the PTA endeavors to raise an additional $50 per student for our Staff Support programming. Every teacher and staff member is given a gift card on their birthdays and at winter break along with school-wide teacher appreciation events throughout the year.
